State warnings

In 2014/15 Firestick Estate established the State’s Extreme Bushfire warnings were a shambles. A representative of the Australian Government:

“…acknowledged that the science that underpins current fire danger ratings systems can be improved” (Letters No. 82).

In response to that oblique acknowledgement of whole of system failure, the world’s most respected Extreme Bushfire expert, David Packham, wrote:

“The appropriate definition of fire spread in this case, is the definition defined by Clarkson” (Belinda Clarkson, Firestick Estate’s Secretary, Letters No. 84).
